The best way to describe what we do is to simply state this:

a viet kieu experience.

What is viet kieu? A foreign-born Vietnamese person.

And our story is exactly that. I’m a first-generation American in my family, with influences from Phan Rang and Hue. The food that we serve is a representation of my upbringing in San Jose, CA, which now has the largest Vietnamese community outside of Vietnam to date.

Each dish is pulled from a memory of that life and how it has played an influence on my life. We’ll have some dishes that come straight from the soul, as well as dishes that come from the memory banks with a flip on the concept. Vietnamese food done through an American lens, and American food done through Vietnamese eyes.
